Its been a long time since I registered new Notes users, July 2000 as a matter of fact. At my current assignment, one of my responsibilities is to create new Notes mail files that are used as group mail files. One of the differences between what I remember doing four years ago and today is the certificate authority process (or CA process). The CA process makes it possible for someone like me to register users without needing to have direct access to the cert id (or ids). Neat. Of course, being the programmer that I am, I'd like to write a Lotusscript agent that uses the Registration class to do all of this at the click of a button, but I'll save that for a later date. I think I'll need to understand the CA process more than I do now in order to automate the registration process, though. Another homework assignment for yours truly.
