I sat in on a training session my customer provides to employees who will be administrating Quickplaces. The session was delivered by one of my co-workers on the Notes team. I have to say I was impressed with how easy it is for QP administrators to add/change/delete users, create folders, add rooms, and so on. One warning that kept coming up in the session was to not use the browser's [Back] button during certain operations. For example, if you click on [Folder Options] and click on the browser's [Back] button, the [Folder Options] button you just clicked on becomes greyed out for everyone, even the Quickplace Doctor ID. Also, if you create a revision of a document and use the [Back] button, the revision becomes a "hidden" draft document that only the document's creator can see. So, when if someone tries to move the original document and all of its responses/children to another room/Quickplace, the move will copy some of the documents over but fail when it reaches the "hidden" draft document. As you can tell, the user attempting the move will probably try it several times before realizing there's a problem, resulting in duplicate documents in the target room/Quickplace. I think I need to become much more familiar with the ins and outs of Quickplace before I'll feel comfortable supporting them on a full-time basis.
